As General Counsel, Barbara oversees the Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance functions of the organization. She is a member of the Senior Management Committee and serves as the Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Boston Trust Walden N.A.
Barbara began her career in 1994 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2025. Previously, Barbara served as General Counsel at the Massachusetts Division of Banks, where she acted as the chief legal advisor, providing legal advice and representation in the many complex and specialized areas of law administered by the Division of Banks. Prior to this, Barbara held positions at State Street, primarily within the US Bank Regulatory and Legal Group, and at Goodwin Procter LLP. Barbara earned a JD cum laude from Boston University School of Law and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
