Rachel Burlock

ESG Analyst

Rachel is an ESG Analyst responsible for evaluating current and potential portfolio investments and engaging companies to advance sustainable business practices. In her role, Rachel analyzes corporate sustainability polices, practices, and performance across a broad array of environmental, social, and governance factors and works on shareholder engagement initiatives related to a wide range of sustainability issues. She is a member of the ESG Research & Engagement Committee.

Rachel began her career in 2014 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2021. Previously she worked at Boston Advisors as an International Equity Analyst and Lead ESG Strategist. In her role, Rachel developed and led the implementation of ESG Integration into the firm’s investment processes, while also serving as the only dedicated fundamental analyst on the international equity team.

Rachel earned a BA in English Language & Literature and Portuguese & Brazilian Studies from Smith College, and a Masters of Divinity degree (M.Div.) from Boston University. She is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute and has passed level I of the CFA exam.
